Spotlight: Mudpuppy

As Women’s History Month comes to a close, let’s go out with a bang by honoring a few trailblazers from the past and present.

These “Little Feminist” magnets were created by Mudpuppy – a company that specializes in making educational puzzles, toys and games for children and “the young at heart”.

Sheroes like Harriet Tubman, Malala and Billie Jean King are a few of the 20 women included in this box.

I can now say my refrigerator is complete!

Illustrator Lydia Ortiz’s eye-catching drawings bring each woman to life. As they adorn the exterior of my freezer, I’m reminded daily to be fearless, selfless and free. They took a road less traveled that was full of the unknown and still despite setbacks, they persevered.

In addition to the magnets, they created playing cards, temporary tattoos, puzzles and books, to name a few.
