We’re already half way through the summer! Can you believe it?<\/p>

New York City has been full of sunshine these last couple of weeks so I decided to go out and have a ‘social distance’ photoshoot with my photographer, Debbie<\/u><\/a> (she’s the greatest!).\u00a0<\/p>

Next on my business focus list is the jewelry and accessories brand Von Perez<\/u><\/a>. Created by Lavonta, I came across his wood earrings while scrolling through Instagram. Each piece is sanded, stained, painted and finished by hand.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

What I love most is the product names. Some of them represent a different African ethnic group: Asante, Himba, Maasai and Kuria, to name a few.\u00a0<\/p>

I’m currently wearing the Imani earrings in silver, but each design comes in multiple colors. Also, don’t let the fact that they’re wood scare you. They are extremely lightweight, hypoallergenic and nickel free!<\/span><\/p>
