Too Many Black Shoes? Alternative Options For Your Feet

When I’m lazy and don’t feel like putting in effort to style an outfit, I immediately wear something black. It could be a black necklace, earrings or even a handbag that I keep by my side all season. It’s so much easier to style anything with this color because it goes with everything.

One of the simplest items is :drum roll please:……..black shoes. I find myself wearing these a few times during the week – which I think is ridiculous because the options are endless when it comes to footwear. I love color, but for me, it’s finding the right pair to go with multiple items in my closet.

Now, as we make our way through September, we’re starting to transition into fall. This means autumn hues of green, orange, brown and red, to name a few. Colors that invoke the leaves changing color, the return of pumpkin spice, apple picking, Halloween and you guessed it, new shoes for your closet!

Where should I shop for flats?

I get the majority of my flats from Zara, DSW and Nordstrom.

And how about heels?

I get the most comfortable heels from Nordstrom, DSW and believe it or not, Target. Don’t sleep on Target!

You can’t forget about booties!

Ehhh…I’m not really a fan of booties, BUT at the end of last spring, I caved and bought a pair by Melrose and Market that were on sale at Nordstrom Rack for $17. We shall see if I like them or not. Review to come!

Soo…any recommendations?
