Smack dab in the middle of your shins!

That’s exactly where a midi skirt hits.

I find it’s the perfect balance between a mini and maxi skirt. Mini’s always ride up (I’ve since learned going up a size is key) and maxi skirts usually require some form of tailoring. Being that I live in NYC, the last thing I want to do is sweep the subway floors with my garment. I can’t tell you how many people I see spit on the platform on a daily basis. Yuck!

Where did I buy this you ask? Boohoo. I was looking for an affordable skirt and the color caught my eye so I decided to give this brand a try. What sealed the deal was their 60% off sale. They have discounts often, but the only downside is U.S. shipping costs $8.99. Despite that, I will be shopping here again because who doesn’t like a good deal?

I particularly like the pleated skirt style because it adds more dimension and this fabric is a bit heavier so it will keep me warm as it gets colder. Also, pair it with flats for work and quickly transition into a kitten heel or stilettos for the evening. Feel like being more comfortable? Throw on some sneakers. It goes with everything.
