Spotlight: Siatta Jeans

I often see African print being used to create headwraps, dresses, tops, etc, but I’ve never seen a design like this!

While checking out the different vendors at Essence Beauty Carnival this past April, I came across Siatta Jeans. A NYC based clothing company that specializes in curvy denim options for women sizes 2 to 20.

The designer, Siatta Kennedy, showed me a few options before I narrowed it down to one style.

I picked ‘Ginger‘, which has four different pieces of african print on distressed high rise jeans.

What’s great is all her pieces are unique. Different patterns, in different places. Some are distressed, some aren’t. And shorts are available, too. Also, the jeans are stretchy so it hugs every curve.
